Words Are Alive is a piece of Flash Art produced for the Reading is Not Dead Showcase.Words Are Alive is a flash motion display that shows letters changing and interacting with their environment to produce a visual effect. I want to product a visual effect that would interest a younger audience and encourage them to read.

my role

The letters are made of shapes that have been assigned a tween class in Flash, and then assigned a mathematical value. This mathematical value cause the letters randomly generate outlines and grow in size. This process creates an interesting visual with various motion patterns that displays well on any screen.
