Live a little. Dance a Little. Is a campaign for the Wii console. The aim of the campaign is to appeal to people in the position of office jobs, that find them self's spending long hours at a desk and not actively partaking in dancing. Seemingly unlikely dance candidates are chosen and they are prompted to dance in front of a green screen, and then the green screen is replaced with a particle background that reacts to the sounds of the music.
Using After Effects I first created the particle effect. Tweaking the dimensions to fit the size of the screen and the rapid hip hop music that was to be played during the scene, until I was able to create a dynamic field for the action to take place. Using Adobe Premiere the green screen footage was trimmed for timing purposes, and finally Encore was used to burn a dvd menu.
