Forest

about this project

Forest is a conceptual personal project that was done to show nature in design. The trees in the darkness peak out in an almost neon appearance giving it mysterious texture that works well on a numerous platforms such as posters, cd covers, and books.

my role

I took pictures of various trees, outlining them in Illustrator and then using a mask technique in Photoshop I reviled the sketch like background underneath of the different trees. Then with some paint like brushes I painted some soft color on top to give it a softer feel.
